Man seriously hurt in Miller County motorcycle crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 20-year-old Wardsville man was seriously hurt during a crash in Miller County around 12:45 a.m. Wednesday.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the man was driving a 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R north on Highway 17, south of Saline Road, when he hit a deer, began to skid and overturned.

The man was taken to Capital Region Medical Center by ambulance with serious injuries.

The report states the man was wearing a DOT-approved helmet at the time of the crash.
