Tracking a lot of sunshine this week

THIS AFTERNOON: Sunny and mild, with highs in the mid-70s and a light easterly breeze.

TONIGHT: Clear and chilly, with lows falling into the upper 40s.

EXTENDED: Sunshine persists throughout the workweek, but temperatures will gradually warm further above average each day as we stay dry. Highs will be in the low to mid-80s from Tuesday through the weekend, possibly above 85 degrees by Saturday and Sunday. The pattern remains flat into the extended forecast, with no rain in sight through mid-October.
