Tracking plenty of time to enjoy the mild fall warmth this week

TODAY: I'm tracking a sunny, cool start to the day with temperatures in the low-to-mid 40s. By the afternoon, mild conditions are expected as southeasterly winds at 5-8 mph and plenty of sunshine help temperatures warm back into the low 70s.

TONIGHT: I'm tracking mid-to-upper-level clouds arriving by the evening hours, sticking around overnight. A light southeasterly breeze continues through the night as temperatures drop back into the mid-40s by dawn tomorrow.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking sunshine returning during Wednesday morning as southerly flow persists, helping temperatures warm closer to the mid-70s by Wednesday afternoon. Mostly sunny and mild conditions continue through Thursday and Friday, with temperatures in the low 50s to start the day and closer to the upper 70s by Friday afternoon. Clouds will then move back into Mid-Missouri Friday evening and stick around for the weekend, keeping temperatures in the mid to upper 70s for each afternoon. By next week, isolated rain chances move into the region, and with that, slightly cooler weather will arrive as well.
