Tracking more clouds tonight, mild Wednesday

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and cool with lows in the upper 40s to around 50.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and mild with highs in the lower 70s.

EXTENDED: We'll be a touch warmer as a weak disturbance sends clouds our way tonight, keeping temperatures in the upper 40s to start Wednesday. We'll gradually warm through the end of the week with lows in the lower 50s and highs in the upper 70s through the weekend as an upper blocking pattern holds. An area of low pressure aloft splits across the Plains, stalling a cold front to our north for the weekend. This could bring us some more clouds by the end of the weekend, and perhaps some light rain between Monday and Tuesday as it finally pushes south. The chances of measurable rain are low, but we could cool back into the upper 60s by next Tuesday behind the front. We'll trend above average through the end of the month with drier weather favored through Halloween.
