COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A crash involving a pedestrian led to a lane of Interstate 70 in Columbia to shut down on Tuesday night.

The Columbia Police Department announced on its social media that officers have responded to a crash with a pedestrian at the I-70 Connector with Highway 63. One lane of traffic is closed.

Information from the Missouri Department of Transportation says the crash was reported in the eastbound lane of I-70 at 6:20 p.m. Delays in the area are expected to last roughly an hour and a half, according to MoDOT’s Traveler Map.
