Lane reopens after crash on East Sexton Road in Columbia

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A car was seen on its top on East Sexton Road near North Garth Avenue in Columbia Thursday morning.

The road reopened just before 7:15 a.m.

ABC 17 News arrived at the scene just before 7 a.m. and saw a yellow SUV lying on its top, blocking one lane of the road. A Columbia Police Department vehicle was seen blocking off the driving lane heading towards Garth Ave.

A tow truck arrived just after 7 a.m. Garth Ave. appeared to be unaffected.

Boone County Joint Communications sent out an alert around 6:20 a.m. about the crash and asked drivers to avoid the area if possible.
