TOMORROW: Storms redevelop before sunrise Thursday morning, leaving roads wet for the commute. A break is possible midday, with another chance of showers in the evening. Another 1 to 2 inches of rain is possible. Temperatures remain mild in the upper 70s.

EXTENDED: Rain clears quickly before Friday, with much cooler temperatures in its wake. Highs will be stuck in the 50s on Friday, and overnight lows will drop to the upper 30s by Saturday and Sunday mornings. This might be chilly enough for frost, so cover any sensitive plants. Highs climb through the 60s over the weekend, with a gradual return to the 70s next week.
