Drowning reported at Lake of the Ozarks

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

One person drowned Wednesday after falling from a bass boat at the Lake of the Ozarks, according to a social media post from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

MSHP’s Troop F – which covers much of Mid-Missouri – wrote that three people fell out of the boat near the Gravois Arm at the 7-mile marker.

Two people were rescued and were not injured, the post says. A dive team is on its way to find and recover the body of the person who drowned, the post says.
