Tracking a cool end to the week, picture-perfect homecoming weekend

TONIGHT: Clear and cool, with lows falling to the upper 40s and low 50s.

TOMORROW: Grab a jacket for the Mizzou homecoming parade, with morning temps in the low to mid-50s. Highs climb to the low 70s by kickoff with sunny skies and a light northerly breeze.

EXTENDED: A quiet pattern will settle in over the next week, with highs climbing into the upper 70s by Sunday. A weak front will cool us back to the low 70s through early next week, but another gradual warmup is expected as sunshine bears down each day. Highs could reach 80 as early as midweek, and next weekend looks even warmer in the lower 80s with no rain chances in sight.
