Tracking clearing skies and a breezy afternoon for Mid-Missouri

TODAY: I'm tracking afternoon sunshine as earlier clouds and mist clear out across Mid-Missouri. Breezy northerly winds at 10-15 mph, with gusts up to 25 mph, will keep our highs held in the upper 60s.

TONIGHT: I'm tracking a clear, quiet evening as temperatures drop steadily into the upper 40s by daybreak. Winds will settle down, coming out of the northeast at 5-10 mph.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking a bright, pleasant start to the weekend on Saturday with afternoon highs reaching the low to mid 70s. A few clouds may drift in Saturday night, but dry air keeps any rain away. Tracking a nearly identical setup Sunday through Tuesday, featuring cool mornings in the upper 40s to low 50s followed by sunny, mid-70s afternoons. I'm tracking slightly more cloud cover by Wednesday, with highs warming into the upper 70s, paving the way for low 80s to return by Thursday afternoon.
