Tracking a cool morning before a mild afternoon for Mizzou Homecoming

TODAY: I'm tracking a cool start to the day, with temperatures in the upper 40s and low 50s out the door. By the afternoon, mostly sunny conditions and winds out of the northeast at 5-10 mph are expected. Temperatures will only warm up into the low to mid 70s today.

TONIGHT: I'm tracking a mostly clear and quiet night as temperatures drop back down into the low 50s. Winds will be light and out of the north.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking quiet, sunny conditions lasting through the rest of the weekend into next week, with temperatures Sunday through Tuesday in the upper 40s/low 50s each morning, warming into the low to mid 70s each afternoon. Wednesday through Friday, slightly warmer conditions arrive, with low 80s making a return to Mid-Missouri. Dry conditions are expected through all of next week.
