Tracking a mild evening, more sunshine Wednesday

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and mild with lows in the mid-50s.

TOMORROW: Partly to mostly sunny with highs in the upper 70s.

EXTENDED: We'll remain above average in the mid-50s overnight before skies begin to clear, bringing more sunshine and a slight warm up for Wednesday afternoon into the upper 70s. Thursday starts off clear and mild, and we'll reach to near 80 with a cold front off to our north. By Friday, clouds will begin to increase with temperatures topping out in the upper 70s. Showers start to move in on Friday night but will have to overcome dry air before reaching the ground. Count on light rain for much of Saturday, but amounts look to stay under 0.25" over the weekend. We'll be cooler over the weekend with clouds and rain in the area as highs only reach the lower 70s. Next week starts off quite active to kick off November, with a strong low pressure system arriving and lingering between Monday and Wednesday, bringing 1-2" of rain with some embedded thunderstorms. With this system exiting to the east/northeast by mid-week, we'll be left cooler with highs in the 60s and lows back into the 40s through next weekend.
