Tracking cloudier skies today and a few sprinkles

THIS AFTERNOON: Mostly cloudy and mild, with highs in the mid-70s. A few sprinkles are possible, but everyone should stay dry.

TONIGHT: Clouds clear slightly, but we stay partly cloudy with lows falling to the low 50s.

EXTENDED: Sunshine returns briefly on Wednesday, warming temperatures to around 80 in the afternoon. Clouds roll back in quickly on Thursday, though, with another low chance of rain. Cloud cover lingers through the end of the week, but highs remain near 80 through Thursday and Friday. We're tracking rain chances this Saturday on Halloween, with a chance of scattered showers in the afternoon and evening. Plan to have a rain jacket or umbrella ready for trick-or-treaters. Temperatures fall to the low 70s this weekend, and another round of rain is possible by late Sunday.
