Tracking gloomy skies and drizzle tonight before clouds clear tomorrow

TONIGHT: Skies remain gloomy and overcast, with a chance of drizzle after sunset. Lows fall to the mid-40s with a light northerly breeze.

TOMORROW: Clouds clear slowly, with sunshine peeking out by the afternoon. Temperatures won't warm much, with highs struggling to reach 50 degrees.

EXTENDED: We'll see more clouds early Friday, but skies finally begin to clear as high pressure moves in Friday night, clearing the dense, low-level clouds from the area. Temperatures are set to plummet to around freezing on Saturday morning, and it'll be chilly at the Mizzou game, with temps in the mid-40s by kickoff and partly to mostly clear skies. Highs eventually reach the mid-50s by the end of the game, but we're in for another freezing night on Saturday, with lows in the lower 30s on Sunday morning. A gradual warmup will kick in with more sunshine next week, and highs rebound to the low 60s on Sunday afternoon, climbing into the upper 60s for the early workweek.
